Bioinformatics Training Program for Health Research The CIHR/MSFHR bioinformatics training program operates as a scholarship program for a select number of students who are undertaking a Bioinformatics M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree at either the University of British Columbia or Simon Fraser University.

Canadian Bioinformatics Workshops Bioinformatics.ca is the portal to bioinformatics activities in Canada and the home for the Canadian Genetic Disease Network (CGDN)- sponsored Canadian Bioinformatics Workshops series hosted nation-wide.

Genome Science and Technology Program A new stream offered by the Genetics Graduate Program (GGP) at UBC, which allows genetics graduate students to receive a more focused M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in the field of genomics and proteomics. This stream will operate as a scholarship program for a select number of students who will undertake course work, intensive laboratory techniques and a number of research rotations to provide a unique interdisciplinary graduate education.
