Post-doctoral Fellow, Translational Gastrointestinal Cancer Research

Interested individuals with a recent PhD, a strong publication record and excellent academic credentials are encouraged to apply to study the genomic regions that harbour potential colorectal cancer susceptibility genes using the latest genomics and bioinformatic approaches. Experience in molecular biology, and bioinformatics is preferable.

A post-doctoral position is available immediately for a highly motivated, recent PhD graduate to join a dynamic translational research group, headed by Dr. Isabella Tai, at the Genome Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will study the potential markers and level of risk associated with the development of colonic polyps and colorectal cancer using the latest genomics and bioinformatic approaches, with a view of developing novel screening tools for colorectal cancer detection.
