ChIP-seq for STAT1 in HeLa cells

by Jessica Dutt last modified Jul 28, 2008 04:23 AM
Genome-wide profiles of STAT1 DNA association using chromatin immunoprecipitation and massively parallel sequencing.

This work demonstrated a new technique for detecting where proteins that control gene expression are bound to DNA, and the manuscript showed that the new technique was accurate. Such technology will be key in furthering our understanding of the complex genetic networks that are activated during the progression of cancer.
