Technology

This web site runs on the open source Plone content management system, which is written in the Python langauge on top of the Zope web framework. Our operating system is Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Some static content, large files and CGI applications are served from the Apache web server.

Additional 3rd party products used on this web site include:

• Plone Software Centre for our software releases.
• AT Google Maps for our integration with the Google Maps service.
• LDAP User Folder with httpslogin to allow secure log-ins against our centralized GSC Account services.
  
• Enfold Simple Staging to allow groups to deploy versions of their content independent from each other.
• DataGridField to allow AJAX editing of fields for our content managers.
